Service Description and Subscriptions
GasPrice.us provides gas price tracking, comparison, and alert services for American consumers. We offer three subscription tiers:
- Free — national price dashboard, content articles, basic price data
- Starter ($3/month) — state-level prices, full price history, trip calculator, up to 10 price alerts
- Pro ($8/month) — unlimited alerts, API access, CSV exports, ad-free experience
Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
Data Disclaimer
Gas price data displayed on GasPrice.us is for informational purposes only. Prices are sourced from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) and represent regional averages. Actual prices at individual gas stations may vary.
GasPrice.us does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price data. Users should verify prices at the pump before making purchasing decisions.
Historical price comparisons and trend analyses represent our interpretation of publicly available data and should not be construed as financial or investment advice.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or system infrastructure
- Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit price data from the service without a Pro subscription and written authorization
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of Liability
GasPrice.us is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GasPrice.us and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.
